Steel Manufacturing Plants

Coal, especially coking coal, is a fundamental raw material in steel manufacturing. It is processed into metallurgical coke through a high-temperature carbonization process in coke ovens. This coke serves as both a fuel and a reducing agent in blast furnaces, where it facilitates the extraction of iron from iron ore by removing oxygen. The coke’s structural strength also supports the iron ore and fluxes in the furnace, enabling efficient melting and gas flow. Approximately 600–800 kg of coke is required to produce one ton of steel, making coking coal a non-substitutable input in traditional steelmaking (via the BF-BOF route).

Our Contribution:
We specialize in sourcing and importing premium-grade coking coal from trusted international suppliers, ensuring consistency in coke quality, reactivity, and strength. Understanding that every steel plant operates differently—whether through blast furnaces, DRI (Direct Reduced Iron), or mini-mills—we provide customized coal solutions that align with specific furnace designs, throughput requirements, and metallurgical standards.

Our coal products are carefully selected for low sulfur, low ash, and high CSR (Coke Strength after Reaction) values—parameters critical for producing high-performance coke and stable furnace operation. Backed by a robust and agile logistics network, we guarantee on-time and uninterrupted deliveries, helping steel plants maintain continuous production cycles and meet market demands without delays.
